Sarah Meehan, PsyD
I have over fifteen years of experience helping people with a range of difficulties including anxiety, depression, intergenerational trauma, relationship struggles and eating concerns. My treatment approach focuses on understanding how your struggles have developed from past experiences while also helping to reduce your current suffering by cultivating ways of coping. My approach focuses on building a strong working relationship and my style is warm, active, and collaborative.
My clinical training included an internship at Cambridge Health Alliance, a Harvard Medical School teaching hospital, and a Postdoctoral Fellowship at the Massachusetts Institute for Psychoanalysis. I served for four years on the board of the Massachusetts Association for Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy. I am currently the Co-Director of Training at the Human Relations Service in Wellesley, MA and an Adjunct Faculty at William James College.
