Are you looking for a compassionate and attuned experience with someone who trusts and can help you tap into in your nervous system's innate capacity to heal?
I provide therapy in English and Spanish. I received my Master's Degree from JFK University. I have been in the Mental Health field for 18 years. In my first 10 years I worked with children, teens, young adults, and families. Since then I have been working with adults. My focus is to help individuals heal, energize, and become aware of their inner strengths. I achieve this by providing a neutral safe space, listening to your concerns, and customizing a treatment plan. I utilize evidence based treatments such as cognitive behavioral therapy, problem solving therapy, behavioral activation, and EMDR. I promise to be there for you every step of your journey. My goal is to help you grow from your struggles, heal from your pain, and move forward to where you want to be in your life.
I know that reaching out for support can feel overwhelming, but you don’t have to navigate it alone. My goal is to create a space where you feel safe, valued, and truly heard. Through empathy, active listening, and authenticity, I offer a non-judgmental and supportive environment where you can explore your challenges and growth. Change happens when you feel understood and empowered. If you're ready to take that next step, I encourage you to reach out—we can start this journey together.
As a therapist, I’m here to be supportive of your goals and help you feel confident in taking your next step towards rediscovering you. I believe in being authentic and invite you to come as you are by being your true self. I’ll help challenge your perspective and reframe any unhelpful thinking that may be getting in the way of your life. Life is already difficult with enough uncertainty in the world, but having a safe place to talk freely about yourself and the things that impact you is greatly needed. My clients are typically women, BIPOC, LGBTQ and others that are looking for a place to take the mask off, improve their self-identity and esteem, improve their relationships, and take steps toward building the best versions of themselves.

Your mental health is very important. Whether you are struggling with a new problem or one that has been on-going, an emotional problem or a bio-chemical one, or even relationship challenges, getting support can make a world of difference. Establishing a safe environment to talk and building a trusting relationship is essential in building a therapeutic relationship. I provide a warm and caring environment for you to trust and share intimate thoughts and feelings, including at times, conflicting thoughts, anxious feelings, depressed mood, traumatic events, etc. The goals of my practice are to improve your overall quality of life and assist you in reaching your maximum potential and personal goals. It's my hope to help you understand patterns, feelings, behaviors, symptoms, and help you learn strategies and equip you with coping skills to overcome the overwhelming challenges of life.
The first step to seeking help can be intimidating and the most difficult. Therapy can bring clarity and an expanded view of what’s possible. The more we understand ourselves and our experiences, the more control we have over living a life that is congruent with who we are. As your therapist, I will support you in navigating difficult emotions, better understanding yourself and accessing your strengths so you can feel like yourself again. I specialize in treating adults who are experiencing life transitions, anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. I create a non-judgmental space that promotes curiosity and healing. As a registered art therapist, I’m trained in providing art-based and traditional therapy sessions. I want to help you thrive and to not feel defined by the challenges you face but the resilience you possess. If you are looking for relief from challenging symptoms or looking for someone to offer consistent care and support, I encourage you to reach out and schedule a free consultation.

I work best with college students who are trying to find their place in the world while managing anxiety, depression, or questions about identity. Many of my clients are part of the LGBTQ+ community and are learning how to navigate relationships, family expectations, and self-acceptance. In our work together, we focus on understanding what’s beneath your stress and self-criticism, building confidence, and helping you feel more grounded and authentic in your life. My goal is to create a space where you can explore who you are without judgment.
Are you experiencing the after-effects of traumatic events, navigating a transition, or wanting to live more authentically? If you've been through a very stressful experience, you may be feeling on edge, finding it hard to trust yourself and others, having difficulty with sleep and concentration, or struggling with intrusive thoughts. Trauma therapy techniques including EMDR can help bring relief. If you are thinking about your career path and seeking more fulfillment and balance in life, I can help with that too. We can explore your values and identify actions aligned with your goals.
