Welcome! I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and psychotherapist. One of my areas of emphasis is counseling undergraduate and graduate students who are navigating the complexities of college life and balancing the demands that often accompany this time. It is common for these years to bring discovery and connection as well as stress, pressure and anxiety. In collaboration, we can work through what is challenging or making you feel stuck or avoidant. We can address mental health concerns that may be disrupting your path. We will look at your day-to-day functioning as well as the bigger picture of your life. I will support you in taking meaningful steps towards your goals. I have extensive specialized experience treating OCD, generalized anxiety, panic disorder, and BFRBs. While in training, I also completed an internship at a college counseling center where I had the wonderful opportunity to counsel students entering healthcare professions. It can be helpful for potential clients to know ahead of time that I am "in- network" with Boston University Aetna Student Health specifically. If you have this insurance, your visits are covered and you are only responsible for your copay. In all other cases, I am "out-of network." I am happy to offer a superbill invoice you can submit to your insurance for partial or full reimbursement, if you have out-of-network benefits and are eligible for reimbursement. If you aren't sure whether you do, you can call the phone number on your insurance card to ask. I am licensed in MA and CT. I look forward to getting to know you!

We all face challenges. When you do, it's wise to consult with someone who listens well and can help you identify the problems, develop strategies, and guide and encourage you to implement them. I have been trained in psychodynamic, cognitive behavioral and systems-centered methods. I often draw upon wisdom, humor, and science to facilitate positive change. Whatever the challenge -- emotional, relational, or other -- we'll address it together.

I hold an enduring belief in the innate capacity of individuals to grow, heal, and transform. At times, we all lose sight of our core selves and may need help returning back to our true, unburdened nature. In our sessions, I work to create a safe environment where you will develop insight, strengthen inner resources, and increase self-compassion. My work is deeply relational and grounded in the Internal Family Systems (IFS) model. Through collaboration, we will design a therapy that best suits your needs - bringing warmth, curiosity, and respect into the therapeutic space. My practice centers on helping individuals and couples, with a focus on complex trauma, anxiety, and depression. I also work well with those experiencing challenges with relationships, gender and sexuality, body image, creative blocks and addictions. No matter where you are starting from, our work together will always deepen your connection to yourself. I believe that the therapeutic relationship is the largest factor in facilitating change, so I understand the importance of finding the right fit. I look forward to meeting you and exploring how we can work together to help you lead a more satisfying and meaningful life. Email is preferred for initial contact

I am certified Internal Family Systems (IFS) therapist. In this approach, we get to know the different parts of you — the ones that may overfunction, strive for perfection, people-please, worry, or carry painful emotions. Rather than judging those parts, we learn to understand them with curiosity and compassion. Therapy can be a space to slow down, make sense of what’s happening internally, and help your system feel more balanced and connected. If faith or spirituality is important to you, we can absolutely incorporate that into our sessions. And if it’s not, that’s perfectly okay too.

College can be exciting, but it can also feel overwhelming. Whether you’re feeling stressed, anxious, lonely, or unsure of yourself, you deserve support. I specialize in providing high-quality, short-term therapy to decrease anxiety. I’ll teach you how you can start using proven strategies to take back control of your thoughts, confidence, and peace. I also have 10 years of experience supporting neurodivergent clients and have a deep appreciation for the way sensory needs, communication styles, and social energy impact daily life on campus. I have expertise in tailoring evidence-based interventions for autistic individuals. In addition to my private practice, I supervise psychology doctoral students and lead a research program to improve mental health treatment for autistic and anxious clients. Many people come to therapy feeling overwhelmed by stress, grief, shame, or old patterns that they cannot seem to break. In our sessions you will have room to slow down, reflect, and release the weight of what you have been carrying. We aim to help you feel more grounded, more confident, and more connected to the life you want, both personally and professionally. We are a group practice led by Rebecca, an LICSW, and Julianne, an LMHC, offering Tuesday and Friday telehealth appointments with the goal of providing accessible, supportive therapy for all patients. If you are ready to begin this process, we are here to support you. Our work is grounded in cognitive behavioral and trauma informed approaches. This means we focus on helping you understand how your thoughts, emotions, and experiences interact, and how you can develop practical tools to cope with what you are going through. We work with adults, and welcome anyone seeking support for depression, trauma, grief, stress, or life changes. Whether challenges are longstanding or new, you do not have to face them alone.
