Charlie Health is a virtual behavioral health program for adolescents and young adults with moderate or severe mental health concerns or co-occurring substance use or eating disorders. Designed to meet the needs of those who require more than weekly therapy, our program combines curated group therapy, individual therapy, and family therapy into personalized treatment programs. We are helping to serve those who are in crisis, or have been historically underserved, by eliminating the most significant treatment barriers: geographical and financial access. We work with nearly all commercial insurance nationwide and have no waitlist, thereby helping people access quality, evidence-based care regardless of insurance, location, or other barriers.

Do you feel like food, exercise, or how you look are taking up way too much space in your mind? Or like no matter what you do, it’s never “enough”? I specialize in supporting teens and young adults who are navigating eating disorders, body image struggles, and the pressure to be perfect. If you are unsure how to navigate this difficult journey or find it hard to trust your own relationship with food, now might be the time to reach out for help. We’ll focus on helping you build freedom around food and movement, while also exploring the deeper emotions and experiences that may be driving your eating disorder. I use EMDR therapy to help process painful memories and the critical beliefs that often fuel disordered eating. He draws from a range of evidence-based approaches – including CBT, DBT, and trauma-informed care – and collaborates with prescribers when medication is part of your healing process. The students I work best with often feel overwhelmed by their emotions and struggle with patterns that seem difficult to change. You may find yourself experiencing intense emotions, relationship challenges, impulsive behaviors, self-criticism, or feeling stuck in cycles that leave you frustrated and exhausted. Many of my clients have spent years trying to cope on their own but continue to feel overwhelmed by stress, conflict, anxiety, depression, or emotional ups and downs. They often want to better understand themselves, build healthier relationships, and develop practical skills for handling difficult emotions without making things worse. In our work together, we'll focus on learning effective strategies to manage intense feelings, tolerate distress, and recognize unhelpful behavior patterns. My goal is to help you gain greater control over your emotions, make choices that align with your values, and create lasting changes that improve your overall well-being. If you're ready to better understand yourself and build skills for navigating life's challenges, we may be a good fit.
