Hi! My name is Grace and I am a Licensed Social Worker offering talk therapy and EMDR in-person at the Fishtown Wellness Center. With a background in case management, education, and activism, my approach to therapy is anti-oppressive, relational, and holistic. My goal is to be a partner in your healing rather than an authority, and I encourage you to offer feedback throughout our time together. I welcome those who may be new to therapy or skeptical about it and I am committed to discovering together how we can best address your concerns. I am informed by a diverse range of therapeutic approaches, including Eye Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing (EMDR), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Internal Family Systems (IFS). I have experience working with a wide range of client concerns including depression, anxiety, ADHD, sexuality and gender exploration, trauma and grief. My style is non-judgmental and compassionate, offering clients a safe environment in which to grow. I am particularly attuned to the unique needs of the LGBTQIA+ community, those in non-monogamous relationships, and neurodivergent folks.

I offer a collaborative and compassionate space for individuals, couples, and families to explore the stories that shape their lives. Together, we’ll consider what still rings true, what feels heavy, and what you may be ready to release. I’m especially drawn to working with LGBTQ+ and neurodivergent clients, as well as those navigating belonging, intersecting identities, and spiritual shame. Our work will move at your pace and center the questions that matter most to you. I’ll walk alongside you as we untangle confusion and constraints to foster greater connection, clarity, and choice. You’re the expert on your experience. My job is to help create space for your voice and to support you in honoring what it has to say. Do emotions take over and exhaust you? Have people marveled at how resilient you are or mentioned your sensitivity as a liability? Maybe you sometimes wonder if you’re the only one who is seeing the hurt and pain all around. It’s likely you have figured out how to adapt to what the world wants you to be. You present the part of yourself that is widely accepted by your community and our social systems, but what about the rest of YOU? We always hear that college is the best days of our lives, but it is also a time a self discovery. That discovery process can be painful, and I can help. I guide young adults to connect to their inherent worth, power, and self-compassion. I work collaboratively with clients and draw from an expansive toolbox including body-oriented practices, talk therapy, and expressive arts. I am well suited to work with clients who are interested in mindfulness meditation and other body-based exercises to be the center of their therapeutic experience. My scope of practice includes anxiety, grief, burn-out, persistent depression, relational stressors, survivors of sexual trauma, and those navigating life as an artist. I align with clients whose identities and values defy society's conventional norms. My practice is trauma-informed, and I am dedicated to an anti-oppression, anti-racist, body positive, LGBTQIA+ affirming and equitable lens.
