Over my time in practice, I have come to learn that much of our thoughts, feelings, and behaviors stem from parental figures and relationships, childhood experiences, significant life events, as well as responses to the here and now. My goal is to work collaboratively with you, to support you, and to assist you in attending to what you feel is important through the cultivation of a strength-based, empathetic, and warm environment.
Relationships and experiences impact who we are as individuals, partners, and members of groups. Our relational patterns are encoded within us and shape our sense of self as well as the ways we relate to those around us. Things we avoid thinking about or addressing have a habit of emerging again and again. Therapy can help to illuminate, reflect on, process, and metabolize thoughts and feelings that may be preventing us from living the lives we want. I offer a supportive approach to help you manage anxiety, ease fear, and develop tools to build resilience. The transition away from home and into college comes with a unique set of challenges and opportunities. Many students struggle with anxiety and depression, making social connections, managing academic stress, navigating a new school culture, leaving relationships from home, and more. I've partnered with students and families in local independent schools for almost 20 years in addition to working more recently with dozens of students in counseling and psychological services in a rigorous college setting.
Lexi is passionate about helping individuals and their families master the regulation of their emotions and behaviors so they can thrive. This includes supporting her clients through the big and small transitions that come up in life. When working with children, teenagers, and young adults, Lexi’s specialty areas include anxiety, depression, mood disorders, and adjustment issues. When working with families in need of supervised visitations, Lexi provides services both at and outside the office. Beyond the grade years, Lexi supports young adults transitioning into college and adulthood, including college check-ins to monitor academic, social, and emotional growth.
I enjoy working with various populations in age, race, cultural experiences, and mental health needs. I thrive working with middle adolescents, young to middle-age adults, and college students. My professional experience is anchored in my passion for working with individuals from the BIPOC community.

We provide individualized care for clients struggling with anorexia, bulimia, binge eating disorder, and other disordered eating behaviors. We also work with Anxiety and Mood disorders. Clients learn to identify and challenge distorted thoughts around food, body image or other presenting stressors. I offer holistic therapy to help students escape the veil of anxiety and live with authenticity. Students I work with struggle with complex emotions. Despite being intelligent, hard-working, and having a witty sense of humor, life isn’t all rainbows and sunshine. When they first come to see me, they are exhausted by the never ending loop of “what if” scenarios and often find themselves trying to be perfect or pretend that they "have it all together." If you’re ready to drop anxiety and find self-compassion, I'm your gal. We will work together in reclaiming your inner knowing, finding your voice, and living your most authentic life.
I work with individuals who are seeking support with living a richer, less restricted life navigating anxiety, difficult transitions, complex trauma, and challenges with relationships. The process of turning inward in therapy - to interrogate how your present is being colored by the past and bringing understanding to patterns of relating to yourself and others can be incredibly transformative and life changing.
