Do you feel overwhelmed, disconnected or unmotivated? Have you noticed changes in how you're feeling in your life and want to feel better? The past year has been a challenge for all of us, on every level. Having to manage the challenges of school, work and relationships during a pandemic has led many students to feel intense stress and anxiety, self-doubt, loneliness and depression. Learning about yourself and finding ways to manage challenges all leads to a sense of more control in your life and more confidence overall. I believe that when we take time to connect and have a space to talk, we realize what we're feeling is human and valid. Even in our hardest times, we all have strengths to build upon. I work with you to increase your awareness of your thoughts, your body and how to feel more connected to both. I am passionate about working with teens and young adults and work with many college students. I believe in an inclusive, supportive, collaborative therapy experience that feels empowering to you. I use a blended approach to therapy, focusing on strengths and skills and enjoy working on communication, self-advocacy and healthy relationships. I also blend skills such as mindfulness and other techniques to address specific anxiety disorders, such as social anxiety and OCD.
I am a licensed clinical psychotherapist serving NY (in-person/virtual), CO (virtual), and FL (virtual). My therapeutic approach is insight-oriented, relational, and collaborative. I work with adults, couples, and adolescents to make meaningful changes in their lives. Together, we will take the time to get to the heart of your story and uncover deep-rooted emotional patterns. I specialize in anxiety, depression, identity issues, relationship issues, and self-esteem. I use psychodynamic theory to explore how our early experiences impact our current functioning, and I see the therapeutic relationship as a corrective experience to heal our early attachment wounds. In our work together, I will gently challenge you to say the unsayable, learn to trust yourself, get out of your own way, and discover new ways to relate to yourself and others. I am a Licensed Social Worker in private practice in Denver, Colorado. I earned my Masters in Social Work with a concentration in Family Systems as well as a post-graduate certificate in trauma therapy from the University of Denver Graduate School of Social Work. I also completed a post-graduate program in Marriage and Family therapy at Denver Family Institute.

You’re functional on the outside but feel stuck on the inside, repeating the same patterns in anxiety, relationships, or habits you can’t seem to change. You’re sick of surface-level advice and want therapy that gets to the root of what’s driving things. As a psychodynamic therapist, I offer a space where you can slow down, feel understood, and explore the patterns shaping your life. I believe that you are the expert on your own experience. My role is to listen carefully, offer challenges when helpful, & support you in changing what isn't working.
My name is Amanda, and I have a long history of working with college students in a variety of contexts. I support students who navigate identity issues, transitions, anxiety, trauma, relationship issues, want to improve self-esteem and step into the person they want to become. I also work in the outdoor industry and use my years of outdoor guiding to support my clients with kindness, compassion, humor and skill. I accept many insurance providers and am taking on new clients.
We are a group practice that focuses on helping people feel better in their relationships. Appointments are offered in-person at our Denver office or through Telehealth. We recognize, as a young adult, you might be feeling depressed, anxious, or stressed with all of the things you have to manage while trying to feel good about yourself in relationships. Establishing yourself as an individual in this world, separate from the places and the people you grew up with, can be hard. You can bring a lot of stuff with you. You might have the time and space to think about the hard stuff or to finally put a name to the stress and pressure you've been feeling. You want to make people happy, but you have to figure out how to feel happy yourself first. We understand this transition time in your life and how you are trying so hard to have healthy relationships, to be less worried or stressed, to feel successful, and to find happiness. Call today to hear how we can help.

At Jessica Quick Wellness we believe in the power of working towards being and feeling well physically, emotionally, and mentally. In my work with individuals and couples, we work together to explore feelings; those that are positive, negative, and those that get us stuck in order to work towards individualized goals. Together, we will explore what techniques work best for you in order for these goals to be reached and sustained.

Hi there, I’m Gavyn. Originally from Illinois, I spent my formative years in the Madison, Wisconsin area. My academic journey led me to the University of Milwaukee, where I earned my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. During high school and throughout my undergraduate years, I immersed myself in various treatment environments, from nursing homes to residential treatment facilities, and outpatient mental health clinics. My commitment to serve my community remained strong as I persisted in finding a setting that would fuel my passion for aiding others in their treatment journeys. Upon completing my undergraduate studies, I ventured to Chicago to delve into the world of wedding photography, a pursuit that fed my artistic soul but left me yearning for deeper human connections. This longing eventually led me and my husband to Colorado, where I embarked on my Master’s in Social Work, specializing in Animal Assisted Therapy. Here, I discovered a profound passion for integrating the healing potential of the human-animal bond into my therapeutic practice. My professional journey has been diverse, encompassing work with various populations, including adolescents diagnosed with Oppositional Defiant Disorder and those navigating disordered eating challenges. Through these experiences, I've refined my ability to address a wide spectrum of mental health concerns. Central to my approach is a belief in the power of a strengths-based perspective, recognizing and nurturing the innate resilience and resources within each individual. I strive to cultivate a safe and supportive environment where clients can freely explore their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. Establishing a strong therapeutic alliance is fundamental to my practice, empowering clients to feel understood and empowered on their path to healing. When I am not in the office, you'll often find me cuddling my four fluffy animals—two cats and two dogs—or plotting my next exciting adventure.
