Keely works well with a wide array of clients and therapeutic issues. She sees adolescents and adults (age 14+). She is a LGBTQ+ affirming therapist and welcomes all individuals regardless of sexual orientation, expression, gender, and lifestyle. Her approach to therapy is client-centered. She listens carefully and speaks the language of each client she works with to create a meaningful and personal experience in therapy. It is important to her to build a strong therapeutic alliance with each of her clients. She draws upon several types of therapy in her work. Her integrative approach includes CBT, DBT, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), mindfulness-based therapy, relaxation training, and Solution-Focused therapies. She is trained and certified in Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART). ART is a type of therapy that helps people move past trauma and stop feeling so stuck. It is effective with trauma as well as general adverse life events, depression, and problems with self concept. This is a powerful method of therapy that can provide rapid results and healing in a short amount of time (1-5 sessions). Keely has been working in the field for over 15 years with experience in several settings, including Partial Hospitalization, outpatient, and in-home therapy. She is able to provide in-person therapy or telemedicine (online) sessions. Her office is located in Nurture, a wellness marketplace in Denver. She is pleased to join this community of health and wellness providers and services because it allows her clients to take advantage of holistic health and fitness services that can compliment their therapy.

Prior to moving to Colorado with my family in 2021, I worked at Florida Gulf Coast University as a Staff Psychologist and Clinical Director for 12 years. I excell at helping people recognize and bring mindful curiosity to their internal and external experiences, so that they can identify their true selves’ values and goals, understand thoughts and emotions in a different way, and learn strategies to promote overall wellness, increase positive relationships and connections, and decrease distress. At the root of my work is my belief that by managing and tolerating uncomfortable emotions, we can live intentionally, in accordance with our value systems. Utilizing the Eastern traditions of mindfulness and the Western traditions of cognitive-behavior therapy, my goal is to help people view times of stress and transition as the unprecedented opportunities for growth that they actually present. My training and clinical expertise is focused on treatment of stress and transition, with specialized focus on anxiety disorders, body focused repetitive behaviors (BFRBs including trichotillomania and excoriation disorder), and cognitive behavioral treatment of insomnia. I have a deep understanding of learning disorders and ad/hd and can often support my clients in navigating difficulties impacted by learning and attention. I currently work with individuals ages 18 and above, with a strong focus on supporting women and young adults. Please contact me and we can determine if I'm a good fit for your needs.

Hi, I’m Rebecca! I’m a licensed therapist (LMFT), and I work with students who are navigating all the messy, beautiful, confusing parts of being human—especially during a time like college, when everything feels like it’s shifting. You don’t need to be in crisis to come to therapy. Maybe you're feeling anxious, overwhelmed, disconnected, or unsure of who you’re becoming, and that’s okay. It’s normal to want some support while you're figuring things out. In our work together, you’ll find a space that’s calm, non-judgmental, and focused on you. I use a mix of approaches—CBT, Emotionally Focused Therapy, and Solution-Focused work—but more than anything, I show up with compassion, curiosity, and respect for your pace and your story. I became a therapist because I know how powerful it can be to feel truly seen and heard. I bring my own love of creativity, deep listening, and belief in people’s resilience into the room with me. You don’t have to have the right words or a plan, just bring yourself. We’ll figure it out together.
Hi, My name is Heather and I have been working as an individual and family therapist for over 10 years. Through my professional experiences, I have found a love for working with younger adult clients and currently work with many undergraduate and graduate college student. I enjoy my work in helping to identify what isn't working for clients in their individual lives or in their relationships and finding alternative ways of thinking and responding that support mental wellness. My experience is is mostly in the areas of symptoms commonly experienced by those struggling with ADHD, anxiety, depression, trauma and PTSD. I work mainly with cognitive models of therapy and am trained in EMDR, and have experience with other theories of psychology that I interweave into my practice, depending on what clients needs are and what they respond positively to. Ultimately I think the connection between therapist and client is the most important part of the therapeutic relationship and I truly enjoy getting to know my clients on a personal level through the clinical work we engage in. I'd appreciate your consideration in your searches for a therapist to work with.
At Ellie - Aurora City Center we strive to meet our clients where they're at to help them get where they want to be. We don’t believe people are broken. But we also don’t believe that “fine” is the ceiling of their potential. We believe therapy is part of the ongoing work of being human. Being human is the hardest thing any of us will ever do and while there is no universal map or linear path, billions of people have walked this terrain before and their collective wisdom across multiple dimensions is essential to framing our understanding of ourselves and each other There’s insight, strategy, and perspective available but no one can walk the path for anyone else. Our role as therapists isn’t to dictate or diagnose from a distance. Nor are we passive companions. We walk with our clients, actively supporting their journeys with clarity, accountability, and emotional safety. Therapy is where insight becomes action, and where healing isn’t handed over—it’s created, felt, and lived. We promise to show up, bring our full humanity, and help clients travel their paths with courage and clarity.
Our therapists live and practice all over the country, offering high-quality mental health counseling to clients of all genders, age ranges, orientations, and cultural/ethnic backgrounds. With an emphasis on diversity of specialties, training, and education, we’re confident that we’re the best way to find a therapist who is licensed and suited to meet your personal needs.
I work best with students who look like they’re holding it together but feel overwhelmed, anxious, or stuck on the inside. Many of the students I support are managing academic pressure, burnout, self-doubt, or the impact of past experiences while trying to keep up with school, work, and relationships. With nearly a decade of experience in mental health settings, I help students slow things down, make sense of what they’re feeling, and build tools that actually help in day-to-day life. Therapy with me is supportive, practical, and collaborative—a space where you don’t have to have it all figured out to get started.
We all want to be loved and experience pleasure, but getting there can be difficult in the culture of perfectionism we live in. This perfectionism shows up everywhere and results in thinking you need to look like a model in order to get a partner, trying to be good at everything, and goal-oriented sex that is more focused on performance than pleasure. Instead of feeling sexy, people feel stressed, lonely, inadequate, and guilty. I work with people who want to feel confident and sexy, have a healthy relationship/s with someone/s who is there for them, be able to communicate clearly, stand up for themselves, and have mind-blowing sex. I’ve worked in sexuality for 10 years, helping college students whose sex life is struggling. I help people of all genders & sexualities have less fear & anxiety, more confidence, stronger relationships, and better sex. My clients get good at connecting with themselves & their partners, moving past toxic patterns, & having open conversations. You’re not broken, even if it feels like it. I know what it’s like to feel lost when it comes to sex and relationships, not have healthy role models, feel like you have to figure it all out yourself, be judged unfairly, and be so focused on performance and being perfect that you miss out on pleasure. But all that can change. You deserve love--and hot sex.
Feeling truly known and accepted is at the core of the human experience. For this reason, feeling disconnected from those around you can be intensely painful, upsetting, and confusing! As your therapist, I hope to help you build a deeper understanding as well as practical tools which allow you to foster deeper connection with yourself and with those who mean the most to you. I am particularly skilled at working with LGBTQIA+/queer folks, people impacted by neurodiversity (ASD, ADHD, etc.), and relationships in conflict. I believe you deserve a life filled with meaning and connection. Let's figure out how to make it happen!
